Thuja Wood Art offers creative solutions to sustainability through artistic woodworking, creating handcrafted, one of kind redcedar artifacts. We will work together with clients to design and build to meet their needs for uniqueness (artistic), quality (clear, oldgrowth redcedar, traditional wood joinery) and function.

The use of salvaged and reclaimed old growth cedar driftwood as our main source of wood is one thing that makes us unique. Another is the technique used to make our artifacts. Redcedar is split and shaped by hand into pieces we use to build gates, furniture, and structures. Using traditional joinery the wood holds itself together without the use of nails or screws.

This also allows many of our products to be taken apart, shipped, and reassembled, greatly reducing shipping costs.
